The MHS Yearbook Committee reserves the right to omit any grad write-up that does not follow the rules mentioned below
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules please contact a member of the yearbook committee in person or by e-mail
- You must include your student number.
- Write-Ups must be a maximum of 260 characters (including spaces)
- The write-up must have spaces
- Write-ups must be completed in English
- No vulgarity references to substance abuse or inappropriate acts.
- No MSN lingo (eg. lol, lmao, g2g, ...)
- For the sake of space and giving the "shout outs" to your friends 'bff' and friends' initials will be the ONLY abbreviations allowed
- You can, however, use mispelling or short forms of words (eg. u, luv, thanx, ...)
- All write-ups must submitted online using the form at www.merivalehs.ocdsb.ca/grad
Again, if you do not follow these rules then the yearbook committee reserves the right to delete your submission no questions asked!
Here are some examples if these rules seem unclear to you:
- What IS acceptable:
- This year wuz a blast! Shout out to all mah friendz, luv u guyz! OR
- This year was a blast! Shout out to all my friends, love you guys!
- What ISN'T acceptable:
- 2 my ppl 4ever lol ttfn!
